Dear Nicolas & Virginie:
It was such a pleasure and honor to visit with you at La Coulée de Serrant. It goes without saying, however, your wines are truly amazing and reflect your wonderful philosophy on wine. As I told you we had a bottle of the 2020 Coulee de Serrant at the Grand Marquis in Chartres and had a staff tasting in the restaurant. Thank you again for what was one of the highlights to our trip yo the Loire.
Hello and congrats on taking over from your father the dean of biodynamics. From being introduced to Vouvray at an early {under] age I have loved chenin and explored it in all its fruit levels esp in Layon where a bottle or Quarts du Charme had “electrifing” come out of my mouth. When I finally came across dry chenin from Savennieres I was smitten. Where have you been all my wine life I thought ?
Its a wine those who truly love dry wine just must experience. Honeyed but savoury its close to the best Meursaults I find and serve it as such, wait for all the gushing to die down and then present the boost never heard of it. Anjou yes but this is truly something. And of course they are right.
I am a member of Les Chaine des Rotisseures and travel to France twice a year. I must take time to come to Angers and really dive into the butterfly world.
Dear M. Nicholas Joly,
I am a Cape Wine Master and International Wine Judge from South Africa. For the past 20 years I have also run an Executive Wine Club for a large corporate. My husband and I are visiting Loire for a week from 2nd to 9th September. We are in Angers on the 4th/ 5th September and wish to visit your Wine Estate on Monday 5th September. Could we make a reservation to taste your wines, and possibly briefly meet with you?
Kind regards
Sandy Harper

In 1984 had the pleasure of visiting Coulee de Serrant with a group of friends from Northern California. We meet Madame Joly and Nicolas told us about his early experiments with biodynamic growing methods. Have enjoyed many bottles of Coulee de Serrant since then.
Bonjour,
my husband and I really would love to visit your domain. My name is Roberta and I studied as a sommelier. Marco is a chef and he is about to open his own restaurant in a vineyard in the Langhe area (Piedmont wine region of Italy). We live in Turin and we are both passionate about the biodynamic wine world and we had the chance to attend a Nicolas conference in Turin during the gastronomic event “Salone del gusto” in 2016., Where we fell in love with his philosophy.
I’m writing you now because we are traveling to the Loire from the 6th to the 9th of January and we really would love to visit your vineyard and taste your wines in your domaine.
Let us know if we can arrange an appointment
Thank you
cordialment
Roberta & Marco
Buonpomeriggio,

Hi!
My name’s Alexander. I’m from Ukraine. Is it possible to visit your winery in October?
The wine you produce is amazing not only for the incredible tasting and aroma notes, but for the spirit put into every single vine. The Coulee de Serrant is my absolute favorite wine in the entire world because it is an EXPERIENCE. As well, a visit to your estate is on my “bucket list” of things I must accomplish in this lifetime. Thank you for everything you do!
I love your wine!!!
Thank you very much, If you have one day the opportunity to come and visit the estate it will be our pleasure.
kind regards
Virginie Joly
Dear Virgine, Thank you so much for the warm invite. I actually will be coming through next June and would love to visit. Your father signed his book for me February 2014. I cherish his wisdom and I love your wines!
Dear Virginie, On Sept. 12, 2017, my husband and I traveled down country roads to arrive at Château de la Roche aux Moines – Coulée de Serrant where you warmly welcomed us. We loved learning about and tasting your biodynamic and delicious wines! We’re looking forward to enjoying the bottle of 2015 Clos de la Bergerie that we purchased from you but will wait until 2020. Thanks so much! Julie and Chris Miller from Ohio, USA

I’ve come and visited Coulee de Serrant this autumn, it was peaceful, and the wines were amazing which Mr Joly presented to us.
Could I please get your email address? I would like to talk to you in details about the wines.

Enjoy it! Your wine got my highest point range! I really like the wine. I hope you like my blog, too.
Thank you.
For our Christmas present to ourselves, my wife and I opened a 2000 bottle of the Coulee de Serrant that we purchased in a wine shop in Santa Fe, NM seven years ago. I do not know the history of the bottle. I had previously participated in a biodynamic tasting with a friend of mine, I contributed a 1990 Nikolaihof Riesling and he contributed a Coulee de Serrant that he decanted for 24 hours previous to the tasting. I loved it then and am now a big fan. The bottle I enjoyed with my wife was also truly exceptional. The expression of the color, the fruitiness, the lingering finish, this defines what remarkable wine is all about. Most of my friends don’t get it. I think I am a lucky man. Thank You!
Hello dear friends!
We have finally concluded a 2 year quality-research on different foods and beverages.
The resaults are presented on a DVD and your suberb wine and soil tests, the ones we made when we visited you, are also included in this work. We will send you a copy ! Enjoy and keep in touch! Regards from Helen & Kim in Sweden.
I sampled your wine at a wine bar in Boise, Idaho and LOVED it! But I live in Michigan. Is there anywhere I can find your wine in Michigan?
Thanks!
wines are available in Michigan through Imperial Beverage out of Kalamazoo
